Reproduction and Child Health Services

The Clinic is integrated and responsible for the entire District as a referral center for all obstetrical and child health services.

The Clinic operates from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm with the exception of weekends and Public holidays. Services rendered in the Clinic include Antenatal Care check up, Health Education, Child health monitoring, Prevention of Mother To Child Transmission (HIV/AIDS) services and an under 5 yrs. CTC clinic.

Departmental Challenges:
To raise the coverage of pregnant women <20 weeks from 26 to 30%.

To raise Family Planning acceptance rate from 2% to 5%.

To raise coverage of TT2 from 34% to 50%.
