DEPARTMENT OF MEDICAL RECORD

Database department stared in 2007 before that the hospital was using the hard copy files.
This department enters the hospital records example Outpatient and inpatient files.

For the new files the staff checks the file for recording the following, personal records, treatment form, laboratory form, prescription form, radiology form.
The daily entry for inpatient is 47 files and for outpatient are 175 files.  Total 222 files per day.

CHALLENGE:
Linkage of database with other departments is not yet done.  We shall need to update the database.
